ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army has officially opened online applications for its Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) and Sipahi (Soldier) positions for 2025, offering a major opportunity for eligible males across Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan to serve their nation.

Eligibility Criteria for Pak Army JCO & Sipahi Posts

General Requirements:

• Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan, including AJK and GB

• Marital Status: Both married and unmarried candidates may apply

• Physical Requirements: Minimum height varies by trade (5’3″ to 5’8″)

• Age Limits:

  • JCO (Naib Khateeb): 20 to 28 years (as of 24 November 2025)

  • Sipahi: 17.5 to 23 years (up to 35 years for Sanitary Workers)

Trade-Wise Requirements and Job Descriptions

Junior Commissioned Officer – Naib Khateeb

• Education: Dars-e-Nizami (HEC recognized), minimum FA/FSc

• Bonus Skills: Qira’at, Arabic language, Hifz-e-Quran

• Age Limit: 20 to 28 years

Sipahi General Duty

• Education: Matric (Middle for candidates from select regions)

• Role: Performs basic combat and field duties

Sipahi Technical

• Education: Matric with Science, at least C-grade

• Role: Operates technical equipment and machinery

Sipahi Clerk

• Education: Intermediate (D-grade accepted for candidates from underdeveloped areas)

• Bonus: Computer diploma holders preferred

• Role: Handles documentation, records, and administrative tasks

Sipahi Driver

• Education: Matric with a valid driving license
